Our story
Handcrafted Upholstery, Built to Your Measurements
Tapiceria Nava is a South Los Angeles upholstery shop where every piece is custom-built or restored by hand. Whether you bring us measurements for a couch you've designed yourself or a set of antique chairs that need new life, we treat the work as our own, down to the smallest detail.
We've reupholstered everything from everyday living room couches to a pair of 1860s vintage Louis XV chairs, and we stand behind the fit and finish of every job. We speak both Spanish and English, with separate phone lines for each, so every customer can describe exactly what they want in the language they're most comfortable in.
- Custom-built to your exact measurements
- Antique & vintage furniture restoration
- Bilingual service: Spanish & English lines
- Reasonable, fair pricing
What customers say
“Best service I have ever gotten when it comes to custom made couches. The owner treated us with the best customer service and attention. He promised and deliver the best work I could have asked for. Best price I could find and believe me I looked around!! He told me if I didn't like it I wouldn't pay for it. That gave me a lot of confidence in his work. I took the measurements of how I wanted the couch and he made it happen.”
“Marco is a master reupholsterer--he did a great job on our 1860s vintage Louis XV chairs and charged a very reasonable fee. No question but we'll use him again if opportunity presents. Thanks Marco!”
“Great Service, My Two Couches are like new now and greatly customized. I am loving Nava Upholstery. Recommended.”
